Story

Nancy was born in N.Z  and she left N.Z to live in Australia in 1914

when she was  two years old. Nancy dreamt of having exciting adventures.

Nancy ran away to Europe when she was sixteen years old and worked

as a  journalist. When she was in  France she got married. When she was in Austria

she saw Nazi soldiers whipping and abusing the Jewish people .

We was learning to identify and summarise key

information in a report.  

   

Multiplying Decimal Investigation

In Room eight- WALHT: Carry out a mathematical investigation involving Multiplying decimals. We rolled the dice four times to get a four digit number e.g. 4832  then changed it to decimals and then multiplied by 10, 100, 1,000. When the number multiply 10 and then you get the answer 483.20 and then we multiply in a 100 is equal 483.200.

Today room 2 visited  room 8 to do buddy blogging. This is my partner Lolenese and she is Samoan and Lolenese  is  a  really smart kind girl.

When I Stayed Home With The Chicken Pox

I am learning to write a recount to share a personal experience.

When I had to stay home with chicken pox I didn't have fun because I wasn’t allowed to play outside, I didn’t have anyone to play with me and I had to miss school days for a week.

Chicken pox really hurts and it’s itchy and my mum does not allow me to scratch it because I will stay and when my brother and sister came from school they always talk to me about what they did at school.

I didn’t listen to what they say because I’m not confident to talk to them because I feel like going to the hospital and drink some fizzy drinks and I didn’t want to eat because I feel like it needed to be cold, that was all I feel when I got the chicken pox.

That was my first time that all of my family got chicken pox except for my parents but when we were in Samoa I never got sick. I was always strong and never missed my school in Samoa and that all about when I got chicken pox.

And I will never like chicken pox ever in my whole life and I  only like to eat apple when I got chicken pox and chicken pox makes me always keep awake early in the morning and it also makes me feel bad on the day that I got this sick.

    

About Me

Talofa, My name is Miriama and I'm back in Room 8. I'm year 8 this year and it's great in this classroom because we have 3 new students in our class: Filipo, Michael and Evan Irenne and Ceasar This year I am a senior and I looking forward to looking after the juniors and  to be a role model into the whole student This year my goal is to be better at maths and hand writing. It is very nice back and meet all of the teachers and student and also the school.
